Meeting a girl

I'm pretty new in this strange place.
But at least I have a nice roommate.
We have been talking for a while now. It was pretty nice.

After skimming several articles, I realize something else as well.
There seems to be a war. And this organization exists to end the war.
They created us for that. And by accomplishing missions, we would get closer to this goal.

This makes me wonder why I joined? Was I desperate? Did something happen to my former family? Did I just want to help? Or am I a victim here?
Or maybe I just didn't have a life before? No, that can't be. I've seen that boy.
I guess I'll find out one day.
For now I should care about myself.

So I look through the missions and it's pretty interesting. There are various kinds of missions.
For a bunch of these missions, I don't even have to leave this place. They are usually about simple tasks like cooking or cleaning. Also some more advanced tasks like training newbies.
But everything outside is worth much more. It's also more difficult, though. Fighting enemies or protecting people. These missions probably also take much longer. Looks like they could even be multiple days.

But I guess for now I should stay inside and do some simple tasks first, so I get comfortable with my body and earn some points to buy some weapons.
Weapons also const points, but not that much.
The cheapest ones are even cheaper than underwear, which makes me feel pretty stupid now.

After checking the screen a little longer, it's getting late and I get tired, so I go to bed.
